COOPER CATHODE

Copper cathode is the purest form of copper, produced after removing impurities through smelting and electrorefining. Resultant product, being the best conductor of electricity, is widely used in the electrical industry.
Copper naturally doesn’t exist in its pure form, and has to be extracted from its ore which is a mixture of copper, iron and sulfur. Copper cathodes are used as a raw material in the production of copper alloys.
