BITUMEN

A residual product of petroleum distillation, Bitumen – also known as Asphalt has numerous industrial applications. Most prominently used in construction industry, roads and rooftops, the product is known for its adhesive and water-resistant qualities.
Bitumen is also known to exist naturally at archeological sites, where heat and pressure have caused decadence of prehistoric organisms.
