Of plastic’s synthetic polymers, PVC is the third most widely produced globally. Cost effectiveness and versatility of the product means that it is used extensively across industries with most prominent being construction, transport, packaging, electric + electronic and healthcare.

There are two basic forms of PVC: rigid, also known as uPVC, and flexible.
